Memory Lane – A Frame Building

The history of the A Frame building begins in 1975, when it was used by the Town for the Chamber of Commerce to House the Tourist Information Booth.

Its first location was downtown on the main street of town next to Ray’s Esso Service Station and was later moved to the Corner of 5620-51st and was manned by summer students.

The Volunteers of the Rimbey Historical Society were approached in 1995 by the Chamber of Commerce to take over the care of theTourist Booth and the old “A Frame” was moved to the park

In the spring of 2007, it was once more placed into service and is now the holder of our rural family albums and framed photos and framed photos and numerous scrapbooks. This museum also contains some of the history of our local Gas Plant.
