The AGM is also Volunteer Appreciation Night and is the Rimbey Historical Society Board's why for saying thank you. Without volunteers, this Museum and Park could not function as well as it does. The night is an opportunity to join for dinner and socializing while regaling in all that has been accomplished throughout the year.  Thank you to all who participarted in this evening. Welcome to the new Rimbey Historical Society Board of directors.

Old Timer’s Reunion Pancake Breakfast is held annually in the Centennial Pavilion at the Park. Santa Night & the Festival of Lights was first held at the Park in 2010, in partnership with the Town of Rimbey, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Historical Society. This free evening is a great   opportunity for the community to celebrate the season with lights, music and song. Santa and Mrs. Claus are on hand for pictures, the Grinch gets up to a few tricks, carolers sing by bonfire, hotdogs, hot/chocolate are all provided. The Santa Night committee is made up of volunteers from all sectors. This committee plans the event and coordinates with town businesses and volunteer groups to provide the various lighting displays throughout the Historical Village buildings and grounds. These lights are on each evening until 9:00pm, for the month of December.
